Volunteers are wanted to help plant the new Native Plant Garden on the north end of the Silver Lake Meadow on  Saturday, November 10th and Sunday, November 11th from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. 

This is a project coordinated by the Silver Lake Neighborhood Council and the Theodore Payne Native Plant Society, and SLRC is pleased to help make this happen. 

Volunteers should email meadownativegarden@silverlakenc.org to learn more, as volunteering requires fingerprinting  by the LA City Department of Recreation and Parks before you can participate.  That’s a long story.
