Could Silver Lake Reservoir’s Future Look Like Echo Park Lake?

by LarryK - Sunday, August 19, 2012 at 8:55 pm

Silver Lake Reservoirs Conservancy leaders attended a public tour of the Echo Park Lake project in August. This is a major renovation of Echo Park, funded by Proposition O Clean Water bonds. Echo Park Lake may help guide the future of the Silver Lake Reservoirs, once they are taken off-line in a few years.

The project includes extensive stormwater management features, including wetlands to help clean stormwater runoff, improved banks to control erosion, and of special interest to the community: restoration of the famed Lotus Garden.
