LOCATION: West, north, and east sides of Reservoirs Complex

In 2015, SLRC initiated a coalition of community groups to advocate for city-sponsored maintenance of the pedestrian path, which is split between Council Districts 13 and 4. In response, CD13 funded a one-time cleanup followed by monthly maintenance visits by the Los Angeles Conservation Corps. The Corps provides needed supplemental services to public property while simultaneously engaging at-risk youth. CD4 has arranged for the Corps to provide a clean-up effort and twice monthly maintenance visits to its side of the path as well.

SLRC provides guidance on specific needs based on its many years of care for the property, and has invited community members to weigh in and participate also. If you'd like to help oversee, suggest needed work, or work alongside the Corps, contact us here.
