LOCATION: Silver Lake Reservoirs plantable banks

The Silver Lake community has consistently expressed a desire to transform the existing asphalt banks to a more natural look that would be more visually appealing and inviting to resident wildlife. An example of a similar project is pictured above. We'd like to see a small demonstration project area that tests one or more of the available ideas. This could provide valuable knowledge and experience to help inform the upcoming Master Planning process. Volunteer with us if you'd like to help work on this project!
