🌻 Native Plants are sold locally at Plant Material (Silver Lake, Glassell Park and Altadena stores), and Sunset Nursery.
🌸 The Theodore Payne Foundation, in Sunland, has a year-round nursery and an annual plant sale. They also offer classes, and annual garden tour, and have lots of information on their website.
☣️ Don’t Plant a Pest! Invasive plants crowd out and take resources from our locally native plants, and many also pose extra risks (toxic, more flammable, shallow roots cause erosion…).
