SLRC gears up for another planting season on Armstrong

With the help of many volunteers from the community, SLRC has helped to make a forgotten dirt slope on Armstrong Ave (near the corner of Silver Lake Blvd.) into a drought-tolerant garden, landscaped with many California native plants.  This planting season kicked off on October 29, with many volunteers helping to clean, weed, water and put new native plants in the ground.

You can join the effort this coming Saturday, November 19 at 9:00am - sign up on the "Volunteer" page on this web site.  Hope to see you there!
