New Trees for the Meadow Park!

After many requests and meetings, SLRC is very happy to announce that our beloved Meadow Park now has five new shade trees.  Two of them came from the DWP as part of their mitigation efforts for the Bypass Pipeline project, and the other three were planted by Recreation and Parks - adjacent to the three benches recently donated by SLRC. While it will take some time for them to mature, at some point they should provide some much needed shade for park users.  Many thanks for this community support from the DWP and Rec and Parks!
